Fuel-efficient drivers cry foul at parking spots (video)

A new round of complaints is arising from the parking lots around Oakland University. It appears special parking spots designated for fuel-efficient vehicles are filling up with gas-guzzling vehicles. And fuel-efficient drivers are crying foul that campus police are not enforcing the zones.

Comedian Jim Gaffigan describes bacon as “the most beautiful thing in the world,” and bacon bits as “the fairy dust of the food community.”

“The only bad part about bacon,” he says, “is that it makes you thirsty — for more bacon.”

Americans love their bacon. Each American eats an average of 18 pounds of it per year, according to theweek.com.

Many people treat bacon with a sort of reverence. Flow charts of when to eat bacon are found on the Royal Bacon Society’s website. Spoiler — eating bacon always is the right decision.

The New York Times even wrote an article on some of the best recipes that include bacon. These include potato chowder, bacon popcorn and mixed in white beans.

Oakland University’s athletes are taking home honors not only on the playing field but also in the classroom. For the third consecutive semester, Oakland led the all Summit League schools in the number of All-Academic students with a GPA over 3.0.
